We serve families with the highest standards for their children’s care – often seeking caregivers with higher education, specialty training, and second languages, but always seeking flexibility, adaptability, and commitment.
We prioritize finding a match that best compliments your family’s values, dynamic, and unique care requirements. We facilitate strong partnerships with solid, rewarding, and lasting success for those who offer a genuine desire to support your family and household.
One of the most important hires you’ll ever make requires a team with the experience, knowledge, and insight to source those who not only excel, but who truly belong in the childcare field.

How Noa Mintz built a successful business while still in high school…

On the outside, Noa Mintz is a typical teen—braces and all. But while her peers are chatting about boys…

Growing up, 15-year-old Noa Mintz was always nonplussed by the cadre of babysitters her parents…

During one of her weekly sessions at SoulCycle last year, Noa Mintz, the founder of Nannies by Noa, had an epiphany…
A great nanny acts as an extension of you in your absence, supporting your values and preferences, and aligning with your parenting style and philosophies to provide a secure, safe, and united home for your family.
Noa Mintz founded Nannies by Noa in 2011, when she was only 12-years-old. You can imagine the acclaim that such a young entrepreneur has earned: segments on NBC’s Today Show and CNBC’s Squawk Box, interviews with Ryan Seacrest and Steve Harvey, a BBC Radio profile, feature stories in Fortune, New York Post, Forbes, New York Magazine, Time, Teen Vogue, and Entrepreneur.
Noa stepped away from the spotlight here to focus on her own higher education & career.
Jo Barrow knows her way around Childcare: more than three decades of noteworthy experience has elevated her to a position of knowledge & leadership within the sector.
Jo is the 2013 Nanny of the Year awardee from the International Nanny Association (INA), recognized for her contributions to the in-home childcare industry. Three years later, she earned a seat on the INA Board of Directors.
Throughout her career as a nanny, a European-trained butler and Children’s Etiquette Consultant, Jo continues to drive positive industry change with participation in numerous programs that focus on the development, health, and safety of children. Working in some of America’s most prestigious homes, Jo has served as a consultant, caregiver, family assistant, and household manager.
Away from the office, Jo shines on another stage: she’s the proud stepmom to four super kiddos in Nyack, NY.
Lucy brings calm to our operational storm, keeping the systems, technology, and behind-the-scenes processes at Nannies by Noa running smoothly. Having been part of NbN since 2016, she has worn more than a few hats along the way and has a knack for untangling complicated problems, building better processes, and finding solutions when something isn’t working quite as it should.
Before moving into operations, Lucy spent more than a decade working in childcare and holds credentials from the International Nanny Association and Newborn Care Solutions. She also holds a BS in Vocal Performance, along with degrees in music and secondary education. Her favorite role was playing Sam-I-Am in Kapilow’s Green Eggs and Ham, the Operetta. Whether she’s troubleshooting a system, organizing a process, or singing, Lucy believes work is better when there’s a little fun in the mix.
